Wedding Garter: Prom and Wedding – Garters Here We Come

My daughter is getting ready for her prom. Her sister is getting ready for her wedding. Me, I’m getting ready to leave the country –kidding.  I do feel stressed out, but if I take it one task or one day at a time their special day will be here before we know it. First off, I need to buy a wedding garter, wedding favors and a prom garter. Then, I need to buy prom party favors and personalized prom favors for youngest daughter’s best friends. If I get this set of tasks completed, I feel like everything will turn out just fine.  Life is good!! :-)

I Used My Wedding Garter As Something Blue

I bought a beautiful blue lacy garter for my something blue, my mom’s necklace for something borrowed, my grandmothers lace hanky for something old and a pearl bracelet for something new.  Everything just fell into place perfectly.  From my wedding favor boxes to my wedding cake topper.  And what a cake topper it was, simply perfect for my storybook wedding and reception.

Decisions To Make On Wedding Garters

You’ve picked out your wedding favors, decorations and all your accessories except one, your wedding garters.  There’s so many styles and colors of leg garters to choose from, it can be a tough decision.  Should you go with a lace garter or maybe a satin garter?  Then what color, red, black or maybe a lovely pink?  Whatever you decide on, don’t forget to get that extra one to be the tossing garter at your reception.
